I absolutely can not wait until spring. Technically it already is spring, but if you look outside my window there is still over a foot of snow on the ground. I’ve been thinking about shoveling the snow off of the garden patch so that maybe it will thaw faster so that I can start getting the soil ready…..but I’m too lazy for that. So, instead I killed a couple hours on Pinterest getting some garden ideas. This ended up making me more anxious for spring, so I decided to search for things that I can do now, before the snow has thawed. I found some really great garden stakes but since I didn’t have the proper supplies I decided to make my own with what I had. You will need:
COME ON SPRING!!!! UPDATE!! FYI after being in the sun a few months the labels will start to bleach out, some of them have fallen off as well and had to be stapled back on which makes them hold up against the rain better. I don’t really mind the faded look, but I just thought I’d let you know.

The skin is our largest organ. You have probably heard of the skin “breathing” but you may not have known that the skin also absorbs. It is good to be aware of this because it means that anything that we put onto the skin is going to be absorbed. With that in mind, its a good idea to use all natural skin care products. As a person with very dry sensitive skin, I’ve tried dozens of of beauty products with disappointing results. As a Massage Therapist I quickly learned that my skin responded very well to the massage oils I am using on clients. Using body oils is a great way to absorb nutrients, which also makes it a great way to get nutrition from herbs by making herbal infused oils.
Basically what you’re doing is making a tea with a carrier oil, instead of water. A tea that has to infuse for a couple weeks, but still, its pretty much the same thing. A carrier oil can be any oil from your basic olive oil or if you want to get a little fancier with coconut or almond oil. Almost every oil is going to be very high in vitamins and minerals. And they are all going to have emollient properties, which means they moisturize and soften the skin. But there are going to be a few differences that makes each oil a little special:
